Wow and Flutter Information:
"Wow and flutter" refers to variations in playback speed, typically caused by age or wear. This unit exhibits very little wow and flutter, as all potential causes (such as dirty or dry moving parts, worn belts, dirty capstan, and pinch rollers) have been thoroughly inspected and addressed during refurbishment.
It's important to recognise that every tape player experiences some degree of wow and flutter, as no unit is completely immune. The extent of this phenomenon can vary based on tape condition and cassette quality. For optimal playback, I recommend performing a full rewind and fast-forward on older tapes before playing them.
